THE TEST SHOOT
If we’re interested in working with you, you will be offered a test shoot. Test shoots are
usually done in studio and can be anywhere from 1-4 hours. This is an opportunity for us
to see how you do in front of the camera before we might cast you for a produced shoot.
Do you have an expressive face? Do you have natural ability with posing and movement?
Are you easy to work with? And so on. We want to find out this and more at the test shoot.
Test shoots are unpaid and a model release is required along with photo ID. Expect to do
a few wardrobe changes, which might include casual, formal, and swimsuit attire. We’ll
shoot everything from classic poses to quirky portraits to action shots. Usually within 1-2
weeks after the test shoot, you will receive a few images by e-mail or on CD.
In some instances, if you have prior modeling experience, the test shoot will be waived.
